The Georgia Department of Education, in conjunction with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, operates a statewide, 24-hour, toll-free, school safety hotline. The hotline was established in 1998 and gives students, teachers, parents, and others a way to report threats and other school crimes both easily and anonymously.
Georgia's 24-hour school safety hotline number is:

At Early County Middle School, we believe in creating a community where every student feels seen, valued, and connected. Through our ROAR motto, Responsibility, Order, Always Respectful, we guide students to make choices that build a safe, welcoming environment for everyone. Our classrooms, hallways, and shared spaces are filled with opportunities to show kindness, celebrate differences, and lift each other up. Together, we are building a culture of belonging where students can learn, grow, and thrive, because when we ROAR, we rise.
At Early County Middle School, we’re focused on helping students build the skills and confidence they need to succeed, now and in high school. Through high expectations, personalized support, and a strong academic foundation, we challenge our students to grow in every subject area. Our "Literacy is Everywhere" campaign supports this work by strengthening reading, writing, and communication skills across the curriculum. From classroom to career goals, ECMS students are leveling up, one day, one lesson, one success at a time.
At Early County Middle School, we know that showing up is the first step to success. When students are present, they’re part of the learning, the growth, and the moments that shape their future. Each day at school is a new opportunity to build knowledge, strengthen skills, and connect with others. Good attendance builds strong habits, and strong habits lead to academic success. We’re committed to helping every student show up, stay on track, and shine bright, because every day matters at ECMS.

Student Involvement
Middle school is a time of big changes, new challenges, and important growth. At ECMS, we believe students do best when they feel a sense of belonging. That’s why we encourage every student to get involved, whether through athletics, clubs, or leadership opportunities. These activities help students build confidence, discover their strengths, and connect with others.
